These terms apply when you buy a digital e-vignette or related toll product through tolltogo.com. They explain our role as your commercial partner, what you agree to at checkout, and how disputes are handled.
tolltogo.com (the “Merchant”) operates this website as an independent commercial service. We help you order and pay for digital toll products issued by national motorway or toll operators (each an “Operator”). The toll entitlement itself is provided under the Operator’s rules. The Operator remains responsible for network coverage, enforcement, and official product conditions. A link to the relevant Operator terms is shown at checkout.
By completing checkout and paying, you offer to purchase the selected product for the vehicle and dates you entered. The contract between you and the Merchant is formed when we confirm your order by email. Before paying you must tick the legally required consent box confirming our terms, privacy statement, withdrawal policy, immediate performance, and loss of withdrawal right once the service is fully performed.
Checkout shows the official toll amount, our service fee, and any optional express delivery charge before you pay. Prices include VAT where applicable unless stated otherwise. We may change prices for future orders at any time. The price shown at the moment you pay applies to that order.
You are responsible for entering accurate vehicle category, licence plate, country of registration, product, and validity start date. Incorrect details may mean the vignette is invalid or not recognised on the network, without entitlement to a refund once registration with the Operator has been completed. You must comply with the Operator’s traffic and toll rules. Our confirmation email is not a guarantee that enforcement cameras or police will never stop you; it is proof of your purchase through our service.
Unless we state otherwise, we aim to register your order with the Operator and send confirmation to your email within the delivery window shown at checkout (standard or express where offered). Times are targets, not guaranteed arrival times. You request immediate performance of the digital service: registration and email delivery begin after successful payment without waiting for the statutory withdrawal period to expire.
Consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, that right does not apply if (i) performance has begun with your prior express consent, and (ii) you acknowledged that you lose your withdrawal right once performance is complete. At checkout you give that consent. After your vignette has been successfully registered with the Operator, orders are generally non-refundable except where mandatory law requires otherwise or we failed to perform our service. If registration has not yet taken place, contact customer service immediately. Where cancellation is possible, refunds are made to the original payment method within a reasonable period.
Complaints about our service can be submitted via customer service with your order email and licence plate. We respond within a reasonable time and in any event within 14 days where EU consumer law requires it. If we cannot resolve a dispute, EU consumers may use the EU ODR platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr). Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
We are liable for direct loss caused by our attributable failure to perform the contract, up to the amount you paid for the affected order (including our service fee), except where mandatory law requires higher liability. We are not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, fines imposed by authorities, or consequences of incorrect data you supplied, Operator outages, or events outside our reasonable control.
Payments are processed by our payment provider on a secure hosted page. Initiating a card chargeback without first contacting us may delay investigation of your case. We may share transaction data with the provider to defend legitimate charges.
Content on this site (text, layout, branding) is protected. You may not scrape, copy, or resell our checkout service without written permission.
We may update these terms. The version published on this site at the time of your order applies unless mandatory law provides otherwise. These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes are submitted to the competent courts in the Netherlands, without prejudice to mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules in your country of residence.
